The quiet space

A calm corner open all evening for stillness, prayer or silence, with no instruction and no one watching.

Alongside the programme, we are planning a quiet space.

It is a calm corner, open all evening, for stillness, prayer or silence. It is there for whoever wants it: a guest who needs a few minutes away from the noise, someone who would like to pray, or someone who has simply been on their feet for a while.

How it is meant to work#

  • Open from the moment doors open until the evening ends.
  • No instruction, no facilitator leading anything, and no one watching.
  • Open to every guest and every belief.
  • You can come and go as you like, as often as you like.

The quiet space is part of the design from the start, not an afterthought.

What we have not decided yet#

We have not confirmed a venue yet, so we cannot describe the room itself. What we can say is the intention: wherever the evening takes place, the quiet space will be there.

An illustration only. The room itself is still to be decided.
