The Elsewhere ExperienceA Nurturing Minds experience

Everything is optional

How we are designing the evening around choice, and what it is and is not.

Three doorways, one softly lit and open, the others dark

At The Elsewhere Experience, every activity is an invitation. That sentence is easy to write and harder to design for, so here is what we mean by it.

Choice you can see#

Each activity will have a visible way to opt out or rest. You never need to explain why you are sitting one out. Guests will not be asked to share personal struggles, or to show that they have grown.

Led with care#

Movement, breath and reflection are led by trained facilitators. Anyone who leads those parts of the evening should be trained for it, and we will ask about that when we invite people to take part. If a guest needs professional support, there will be a route to it.

What this is not#

Listening afterwards#

We would like to ask guests, optionally, how the evening felt. What they tell us is their own account, and it will help us improve the next edition.
