We are shaping the evening around seven stages. Each has a simple intention. They are a conceptual framework, so they may overlap, change order or be adapted to the final venue, duration and programme.

Arrival#
Arrival starts before the programme does. Welcome, registration, music, lighting and the way the space is arranged should all say that you have stepped into somewhere different. The pace is warm and unhurried.
Intention: anticipation, and a sense of arrival.
Discovery#
Music, art, sensory details and creative installations set the character of the evening, and give people something to explore. The space should invite curiosity and leave room to breathe.
Intention: curiosity and presence.
Connection#
Facilitated conversations, collaborative activities and thoughtful prompts help guests meet beyond a quick introduction. Activities should suit different personalities and comfort levels, and nobody is asked to share anything personal.
Intention: belonging, and honest conversation.
Dinner#
A shared meal at long tables, with unhurried conversation and soft music. It has its own slot so nobody has to choose between eating and taking part. Read more in planning dinner for 200 guests.
Reflection#
A quieter hour with guided prompts, anonymous written responses and the quiet space. It should feel light and optional, closer to a good conversation than a session.
Intention: room for insight and self-awareness.
Expression#
Creative participation through art, music, movement or storytelling. Exploring matters more than polish, and no talent or technique is needed.
Intention: to give ideas a personal, hands-on form.
Celebration#
Live music, performance and play. Enjoyment is one of the purposes of the evening, not a reward for sitting through the rest.
Intention: joy, spontaneity and shared memories.
Departure#
A calm close, with a quiet reflection or an informal send-off and no long speech. Guests may carry away a thought, a question, a new connection or simply a rested evening.
Intention: letting the evening continue in your own time.
